As a child I can recall the moment I realized that not everything was made from machines, people made things by hand, that meant I could do it too. It was at The Sawdust Art Festival in my hometown of Laguna Beach, California that gave me this gift of an experience.
I now work with copper, steel and bronze, using an oxy-acetylene torch to create both functional and pure sculptural art. My pieces often include a large amount of enameling within the design as well.
